Cooperstown Cancels Halloween Parade
Halloween 2020 in Cooperstown will not have a parade. According to AllOTSEGO, the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce informed the Village Board they are not seeking a parade permit this year because of COVID-19. Chamber officials report that about half of the Village’s 20 businesses say they will be handing out candy during the annual trick-or-treat event on Saturday, Oct. 31. Governor Cuomo's office has not issued a directive on Halloween events.
