Columbus Day Weekend Studio Tours in Susquehanna County
With the popularity of First Friday art walks in Binghamton and Owego, they are hoping some of these art lovers will come to beautiful Susquehanna County to see a vast array of art featuring a number of different medias.
This actually is not anything new. In it's 19th year, the Artists' Open House Weekend is taking place October 10, 11 and 12th, from 10am-6pm each day.
This is a big deal and a great deal of creative arts on display with 27 artists at 21 different locations this Columbus Day Weekend. Medias represented include: paintings, photography, fused glass, jewelry, wood-carving, unique wood, gas-and-electric-fired ceramics, collage, sculpture, bird carving, field stone walls, porcelain painting, stained glass and glass tableware, contemporary wood furniture, and fine art giclee prints
What's nice about this tour is you can start at any studio as it's completely self guided using the map on ArtistsTour.com.
The artists who participate in the tour will donate a portion of their sales back to the community including the Florence Shelly Preserve, Woodbourne Forest Preserve and the Susquehanna County Historical Society and Free Library Association.
