It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Binghamton. One thing I love about the downtown area is the growth, feeling of community, and the pride people take in revitalizing the area.

Ivory Christmas: A Downtown Binghamton Holiday Celebration is coming December 7th 5pm-7pm and it will be an extremely unique holiday event.

Pianos will line Washington Street in Downtown as stroller enjoy the sounds of season. But it doesn’t end with pianos. Flutes, violin, and even the cast of a Christmas Carol will help guests get into the holiday sprit through music and fun.

Artists will do a live painting demonstration on donated pianos, something that is super unique to this event. There will be Christmas trees lining the Parlor City Commons and Metro City Plaza providing a great landscape for photos and cheer.

There will also be Sing-a-Longs, we all love Sing-a-Longs, and the Colonial will have its holiday light display up and running.

The event is seeking some more musicians and artists as well! Email joshuab@bingpop.com if you are interested.

WNBF, Wild 104, Trinity Printing, Strange Brew, and Key Branding Labs are sponsoring this event.
