I feel bad for our children as they try to navigate their lives in school. Everyone seems to have an opinion on masks and vaccines. They hear so many different voices from so many different people. It can't be easy to decide what is right.

So when we hear good news about one of the kids in our area then we want to pass it along. It has to do with a JV football player from the Chenango Forks School District named Xaiver but his teammates call him "X."

It isn't all good news for X because he is recovering from a rare lung disease, according to the CF Athletics' Facebook post. The good news is what his fellow football players did for him. The Chenango Forks varsity team pitched together and made a special presentation to this young man.
