Carrie Underwood shows off her sexier side in the sultry new video for her latest single, "Drinking Alone."

Filmed in muted colors, the "Drinking Alone" video depicts Underwood as a singer in a bar, delivering the mid-tempo song as an homage to getting over heartbreak by getting back in the game. "We should be drinking alone, together," she sings in the chorus.

The video pays off on that concept, alternating between Underwood singing on stage and snuggling into a corner booth with a handsome stranger, looking for a temporary fix to both of their romantic problems.

"Drinking Alone" is Underwood's fourth single from her current album, Cry Pretty, which she released in September of 2018. It follows the title song, "Love Wins" and "Southbound," the latter of which gave Underwood her most recent No. 1 hit.

Underwood has been out on the road in 2019 to promote the album on her Cry Pretty Tour 360, which features support acts Runaway June and Maddie & Tae. "Drinking Alone" has been a highlight of her live shows, giving her a spotlight to showcase a different side to her artistry.

Underwood performed "Drinking Alone" in a show-stopping highlight of the 2019 CMA Awards on Nov. 13. She also co-hosted the show for the twelfth time in 2019, this time joined by special guest co-hosts Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton. Though she didn't win any awards, Underwood went into the show as a multiple nominee, including a nod in the most important category of the evening, Entertainer of the Year.
