Carrie Underwood has a brand-new album to promote, Cry Pretty, and she stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday night (Sept. 13) as part of her promotional tour. She took the time to talk about her new music, but also showed off her chops identifying other musician's compositions.

Host Fallon joined Underwood and actors Blake Lively and Henry Golding in a game of Name That Song. The game involves Fallon's house band, the Roots, playing stripped-down versions of popular songs, one instrument at a time, with whoever guesses the composition first getting a point.

Underwood was paired with Golding, and not surprisingly, she did quite well. She jumped immediately to identify Britney Spears' "Toxic," and corrected Fallon when he misinterpreted a Rick Astley hit—Fallon guessed "Together Forever" when the actual song was "Never Gonna Give You Up." (Fallon joked that he'd been "Rickrolled" when Underwood showed him up.)

Underwood, 35, released her sixth studio album at midnight on Sept. 14, and it proves to be a more mature album that shows off a colorful range of emotions, as well as some considerable technical and vocal stretches. The star, who is pregnant with her second child, will get back out on the road for her Cry Pretty Tour 360 next year alongside openers Runaway June and Maddie & Tae.
