Emergency crews pulled a man from a burning car after the vehicle struck a gasoline pump at a store in Binghamton.

The incident happened at One Stop Groceries at 283 Front Street around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Police and fire units responded were called and the driver of the vehicle was quickly extricated. The man was evaluated at the scene but he apparently escaped serious injury.
