It’s a Butterball emergency that even the Butterball Hotline can’t fix!

Butterball, the nation’s largest turkey producers doesn’t have enough fresh large birds to sell and Thanksgiving is only a week from this Thursday.

Butterball’s spokeswoman Stephanie Llorente issued a statement which read, “We experienced a decline in weight gains on some of our farms causing a limited availability of large, fresh turkeys. While we are continuing to evaluate all potential causes, we are working to remedy the issue. We sincerely regret the inconvenience that some of our customers have experienced as a result of this issue.”

If you've been holding off buying your Thanksgiving turkey, you might want to get on it just to be on the safe side. If Butterball runs out of fresh birds, you know people will start buying other brands, which could leave you with none if you don't move fast enough. That'd be pretty terrible!
