BU Men’s Basketball Releases Non-Conference Schedule

The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team has released its 2019-2020 non-conference schedule.  The Bearcats open play on Tuesday, November 5 with a visit to Ithaca to face the Cornell Big Red.  BU's first home game is on Saturday, November 16 when the Bearcats host Sacred Heart at the Events Center.

The "big game" on the Bearcats schedule comes early in the schedule when they travel to Lansing, Michigan on Sunday, November 10 to meet preseason No.1 Michigan State.  It will be Binghamton's second visit to face the Spartans in Lansing.  Michigan State won 32 games last season and went all the way to the national semifinals.

Another high profile game will take the Bearcats to Pittsburgh, Pa.to meet the Pitt Panthers out of the ACC on December 20.  Two nights prior to that game the Bearcats meet Youngstown State in Ohio.

Home game highlights include: Army on Saturday November 23; Colgate on Wednesday, December 4 and Boston University on Saturday, December 7.  The Bearcats play seven non-conference games away and six at home at the Events Center.

The America East regular season schedule begins in early January.  The conference quarterfinal round begins on March 7.  The conference schedule will be released in a few weeks.
