Broome County is welcoming hundreds of wrestling fans to downtown Binghamton this weekend but are putting out some reminders prior to the WWE Live event at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena on July 7.

The WWE has a list of items that are not allowed.

Items restricted by the WWE include: • Bags larger than 14 by 14 by 6 • Backpacks and Briefcases • Women’s purses (small clutch bags are allowed) • Video Cameras and Recording devices • Laser Pointers or Noise Makers • Weapons of any kind • Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs or paraphernalia • Selfie Sticks • Lap top computers or tablets • Coolers • Luggage of any kind • Camera Bags • Masks (only WWE brand masks will be permitted)

People are asked to be aware of the restrictions and have items they bring with them contained in clear plastic bags to speed passage through security, including required metal detectors.  Fans are also encouraged to arrive early.

The event starts at 7 and the doors will open at 5:30.

In addition to other parking options downtown, the Governmental Plaza lot is available with access from Isbell street.  Parking is $4 per car.
