Broome Talent Attraction Gets a Personal Touch

The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce and Visit Binghamton are looking to attract job talent from outside the region using the personal touch.

An effort called “Experience Bing” has been launched to enhance job prospects’ experiences when visiting the area, possibly for an interview.

The project is described as a kind-of concierge service for job candidates to introduce outsiders to the community and its attractions ranging from dining to family entertainment sports and the arts.  The experience can include not only printed information but even a personal tour guide to help local businesses attract new talent.

Recent estimates have put open job opportunities in Broome County currently at 4,000.
