The office says it is also taking reservations for people who want to stay after the meetings November 5 at the Northern Broome Senior Center or November 19 at the Broome West Senior Center for the “Savor the Senior Centers” meal tasting.  Both public hearings start at 5 p.m.

The draft plan is available for review online at www.gobroomecounty.com/senior/publications. Copies will also be available at the hearings.

Those wishing to stay for the sampling dinner need to make reservations at the senior center hosting the hearing at least by noon the day before the hearing.  The suggested contribution for those age 60 and over is $4.25 and $5.25 for those under 60.

Anyone needing special accommodations for attending the hearings should call the Office for Aging at (607) 778-2411 at least five days in advance.
