The Broome County Toys for Tots initiative is set to kick off on Monday, December 2nd, 2024, marking the beginning of a season filled with generosity, community spirit, and the joy of giving.

This annual event, which provides toys and gifts to children in need during the holiday season, will be hosted at 243 Main St. Johnson City, the former Johnson City Village Office. The entrance is located at the back of the building facing the municipal parking lot.

For those who would like to participate, sign-ups for Broome County Toys for Tots will start on Monday, December 2nd, and continue until Saturday, December 14th. The headquarters will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays. In addition to the regular hours, extended sign-up hours will be available on Wednesday, December 4th, and December 11th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

To support the initiative, donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off during operating hours until Tuesday, December 19th.
