Congressman Anthony Brindisi's Binghamton and Utica offices are implementing new safety procedures as they resume operations following the COVID-19 closure.

The regional offices will reopen to provide assistance to Brindisi's constituents by appointment.

Brindisi, who represents New York's 22nd Congressional District, said his staff has been working remotely since mid-March to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

There will be limits on the number of people who may be in the offices at any time.

In a statement released Thursday, Brindisi said phone and video calls remain the preferred methods of contact.

People who need help with federal casework may contact Brindisi's Binghamton office at (607) 242-0200. The office is located in the Metro Center at 49 Court Street.
