Birnie Bus Service Is Now Hiring For School Bus Drivers and Trainees

Birnie Bus Service Inc., a Krapf School Bus Company, has been serving the local communities since 1947. They are very proud of their well-trained professional drivers, unsurpassed school bus safety program and their aggressive preventative fleet maintenance plan.

Birnie Bus is looking to hire new drivers to help them going into next year. Available immediately to the right candidates, Birnie Bus is seeking school bus drivers or driver trainees to join them at the Chenango Forks Terminal located at 268 Kattelville Rd. in Binghamton and the Corning Terminal located at 124 Victory Hwy in Painted Post.

As a Birnie employee, you will receive free, paid training for a CDL (should you not already have one) as well as generous benefits including medical per ACA criteria, and employee-paid dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, flexible spending accounts, paid snow days, competitive pay rates, and more.

The comprehensive CDL training program covers everything you need to know before you officially go on the job and will take anywhere between 6 to 8 weeks to successfully complete. Remember, the training is free of charge and you'll be paid for attending!

Please keep in mind that in order to attain your CDL, you must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and pass all background checks and a pre-employment drug screening.
