A Broome County woman faces a felony identity theft charge for allegedly buying merchandise from Amazon using someone else's personal information.

Authorities say 25-year-old Kierstin Furch of Binghamton is accused of making fraudulent purchases.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, Furch was charged with second-degree identity theft, a felony, and third-degree identity theft, a misdemeanor. She also was charged with two misdemeanor counts of petit larceny.

Furch was issued appearance tickets for Dickinson town court.

Investigators did not indicate what items were acquired or when the purchases occurred.
