Binghamton Rumble Ponies Giving Us Something To Shout About
The Mets may not have lived up to expectations but the Binghamton Rumble Ponies are giving us hope for the future of the franchise. For the first time this season, they have the Eastern League Player and the Eastern League Pitcher of the week.
Congratulations to outfielder Agustin Ruiz and RHP Tyler Stuart. Ruiz batted .500 during their five-game road swing and Stuart leads the minors in ERA. They've also won four of their last five games and look to keep it going this week and Labor Day weekend.
Binghamton Rumble Ponies Begin Homestand Against Harrisburg Senators
There are only two homestands left in the regular season at Mirabito Stadium and the second to last begins with Twofer Tuesday (8/29) on Off to the Races night. August 30th is We Care Wednesday (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) with free parking.
Thursday is Thursty Thursday courtesy of 98.1 the Hawk with select drinks and drafts two for the price of one. First pitch for all three games is at 6:35 p.m. Labor Day weekend at Mirabito Stadium will start with a bang on Friday evening with the first of two firework nights over the weekend. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
Saturday is Rowdy Wrestling Bobblehead giveaway night with the first 1,000 fans through the gate getting this collective souvenir. Stick around after the game for a free Xcite Wrestling Show. First pitch is 6:07 p.m. (not a typo).
Binghamton Rumble Ponies Big Bang Boom Fireworks
On Sunday, September 3rd come early and stay late. There'll be a pre-game catch on the field beginning at 5 p.m. After another Rumble Ponies win, it'll be the best fireworks show in the Southern Tier with a BING, BANG, BOOM!. First pitch is at 6:35 p.m.
