Binghamton Rumble Ponies & Black Bears Downtown Double Header
It's the beginning of the year for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies and the end of the regular season for the Binghamton Black Bears. This weekend, they are getting together and you won't want to miss it.
It was a record-breaking year for the Bi
nghamton Black Bears and they aren't done yet. On Friday, April 7th, they had a first in Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) history. The Black Bears became the first FPHL team to have over 100,000 fans in attendance in one season.
Then later in the night, Tyler Gjurich scored his 297th career goal to break the FPHL goal record...and he's not done yet. Check out the record-breaking goal below.

The final game of the regular season is this Saturday night at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena, then they begin their march to the Commissioners Cup. Here's an added bonus: The Black Bears have gotten together with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies to offer you a day and night of local sports action with their Downtown Double Header.
It's a chance to see the Ponies Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:05 p.m. at Mirabito Stadium and then enjoy the last game of the regular season with the Black Bears at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena at 7 p.m.
Downtown Double Header With The Binghamton Rumble Ponies And Black Bears
Two games for one low price of $20. The weather will be warm with temperatures in the 70's on Saturday afternoon, so it should be a good day at the ballpark. Then complete your Saturday at the arena when Elmira comes to town to take on the red-hot Black Bears.
FREE Postgame Skate With The Binghamton Black Bears
Saturday night is Fan Appreciation Night with a postgame skate with the players after the game. It's free but you have to have your own skates to get on the ice and they don't rent skates at the arena.
Go here to get your $20 ticket and I'll see you at the Black Bears game when I'll help to give away an ATV to some lucky fan.
