A funny thing happens when music takes a hold of a person. It starts with the arms and then moves down to the waist and before you know it, your hips are swaying. And then your legs.

I don't know about you, but sometimes music grabs me in the strangest of places. Like at my grandma's funeral, for example. I can't even remember what the song was, but I know that it was about Jesus calling us home and being happy to be in heaven. Before I even knew what was happening, I found myself swaying to the cassette tape (remember those?). Yes, the song was recorded and no, there wasn't a choir. Just a cassette tape and a small congregation. I didn't even care that people were giving me side eye. The music made my soul feel happy, something it hadn't felt in days.

The lesson in this is that when you feel the music- go with the flow. It's not only good for you, but for those watching. Music is contagious and in a good way- not in a flu way.

I stumbled on this video of a man who obviously was filled with joy by something. I'm going to go with music.
