Binghamton Mayor Rich David will join Binghamton Police and community members this morning for a press conference to discuss the cities participation in this years event.

Each year Binghamton Police join neighborhoods to show their support and encourage others to support local anti-crime programs.

National Night will be held at the park next Tuesday August 3 from 5pm to 8pm, for more information log on to natw.org.

The first National Night Out was held in 1984 and involved over 2.5 million neighbors across 400 communities in 23 states, it has grown to over 38 million people in 16 thousand communities.
