Public Television has a rich history of making education fun for children and parents alike.  Next Tuesday from 3-6pm, WSKG-TV in Binghamton teams up with the Broome County Public Library for a fun afternoon playing a PBS KIDS Kart Kingdom Live Game.

Four teams will challenge each other using engineering skills to outwit their competitors in the game 'Water Works'. Teams will work together, design, communicate and travel through the Water Works game during this hour long event.

According to coordinator Nancy Coddington, "this is a great opportunity for kids to learn how to navigate, problem solve and critical think and at the same time, learn to be creative engineers and work on team building."

Space is limited, register HERE, choosing a specific start time.  It is important to arrive at your registered time so we can accommodate all participants.  Registration is required, event is open to children ages 6-9 years old.

The team reserves the right to create teams for the event.  Parents are asked to stay in the game play area during the time their child(ren) are playing. Children may get wet during the event, please dress appropriately.  Contact Nancy Coddington ncoddington@wskg.org  or 607-729-0100 x342 for any questions.
