Binghamton Brewery Offers Beer to Benefit Animals

For the second consecutive year Galaxy Brewing Company and the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park have joined forces to brew up a drink that saves the animals.

IPA for Animals 2.0 has once again been brewed for the public and will launch at the upcoming Zoo Brew & Wine Too! coming up on Saturday June 16th.

After the initial launch of the beer, curious drinkers can experience the concoction at Galaxy Brewing Company. For every glass sold, $1.00 will be donated by Galaxy Brewing Company back to the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park and their conservation efforts.

The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park participates in many conservation efforts, over 25 to be exact.

One of their conservation programs is the SSP program. Called Species Survival Plans, these SSPs are coordinated through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. SSPs promote plans for the future of species living in zoos and aquariums. A full list of the conservation initiatives the zoo participates in can be found here.
