The Broome County Department of Parks, Recreation and Youth Services is looking for proposals for programs for young people in 2022.

Funding for grants of both over $5,000 and under $5,000 is available from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.

The Broome County Youth Bureau is looking for programs that address specific areas of need including school-based positive youth development, after school programs, youth development, juvenile diversion, runaway and homeless youth intervention programs and mentoring.

Municipalities are advised to apply for one total funding request for all programming.

Two hard copies and one electronic document are required to be considered for a grant.

Proposals must be submitted by 4 p.m. October 1 to the Broome County Parks, Recreation and Youth Services Department.
