Lets begin with Susan B. Anthony, who came in the 8th spot for top historical mentor. Her dedication to fighting for women's rights continues to show the way for those striving that are looking for equality.

Next, we have Frederick Douglass, a trailblazer whose journey from slavery to powerful abolitionist and educator is nothing short of awe-inspiring. His guidance and mentorship in the fight for civil rights have made him a standout figure in New York's legacy of leadership.

Let's not forget about Elizabeth Cady Stanton, the powerhouse behind the women's rights movement. She may have ranked 67th in the poll, but her commitment to working for women's equality has left an impact on history and continues to inspire women everywhere.

These three icons from New York join other historical mentors like Martin Luther King and Benjamin Franklin. They've not only excelled in their own fields but have also guided others to strive for greatness and positive change.
