From Binghamton to Nashville: Local Artist Tapped for CMA Fest Weekend Spotlight
Binghamton’s own Allie Torto, an independent artist, singer, and songwriter, just shared some of the biggest news of her career: she’s been invited to perform during CMA Fest weekend in Nashville!
In just a couple of weeks, Allie will be taking the stage at a special independent artist festival, representing her hometown with original music and the kind of heart that only a true grassroots artist can bring.
Allie’s Passion Keeps Her Pushing Forward
Allie has always been honest about the highs and lows of chasing a music career. As she puts it, “It’s hard to pursue a career in music when you make less doing your art than the money you put into it... but there will never be a day I regret taking these chances.” That unshakable drive has carried her through years of writing, recording, and performing, often on her own dime, all while balancing the day-to-day demands of life.

More Than Music: Mentoring the Next Generation
What makes Allie’s journey even more inspiring is how much she gives back. She spends a large part of her year mentoring aspiring artists through her virtual singing competition, “The Virtual Voices,” helping them carve out their own musical paths. It’s a massive undertaking, one that brings in no income, but Allie does it anyway, pouring her time, creativity, and love for music into every contestant she coaches.
Kickstarter for Nashville and “Resilient” Music Video
With the Nashville performance locked in, Allie is dreaming even bigger, she wants to film a music video for her powerful new song, “Resilient,” while she’s there. But with travel costs, video production, and day-to-day expenses, making it all happen isn’t easy. That’s why she’s launched a Kickstarter campaign, her first public fundraiser in over three years. And this one is an all-or-nothing effort, if the goal isn’t met within just over two weeks, the funding doesn’t go through at all.
Supporters Will Hear “Resilient” First
Allie is going the extra mile to thank those who support her. Anyone who donates to her Kickstarter will receive an exclusive, unreleased copy of “Resilient,” a sneak peek of the music they’re helping bring to life. It’s a heartfelt thank-you, and a way to let her supporters know exactly what they’re backing.
What’s Next for Allie? Tin Roof and Big Dreams in Nashville
The buzz is already building for Allie’s performance at Tin Roof in Nashville, part of the CMA Fest weekend festivities. She’ll be sharing more details in the coming days, and she hopes the community that’s always believed in her will rally behind this next chapter. As she says, “If I keep working at it and you guys keep believing in me, I can give back even more to you in the future.”

If you’d like to help Allie make her Nashville dream (and music video) a reality, you can contribute to her Kickstarter campaign here.
