Rolling Stone put together a list of 14 classic albums that flopped when they first came out. In chronological order:

1.  "Pet Sounds", The Beach Boys  (1963)
2.  "Ramones", The Ramones  (1976)
3.  "Tusk", Fleetwood Mac  (1979)
4.  "Paul's Boutique", The Beastie Boys  (1989)
5.  "Pinkerton", Weezer  (1996)

So weird to think that they were a flop at first!
