The Zac Brown Band used the 2013 CMA Awards to debut a brand new song, 'Day for the Dead' with Foo Fighter's singer, Dave Grohl on drums.

Carrie Underwood introduced the band, expressing her excitement for the performance before becoming just another fan. Grohl was featured for much of the performance. The drummer grabbed a lot of camera time until the very end.

Zac Brown dressed the part for the rock-meets-country song, wearing his signature beanie as well as a jacket covered in skulls. His guitar strap matched with skulls and roses. It was the second most rocking performance of the night, behind Eric Church's 'The Outsiders.'

Near the finish, the band slowed it down with a six-part acoustic harmony while Grohl bobbed his head along to the beat. 'Day for the Dead' was a hit that ended with a standing ovation from the crowd and a cheer from Underwood. Expect the song to appear on the next ZBB album, which will be produced by Grohl.
