I must look so peculiar to other shoppers whenever I go to the store to buy sunscreen because I stand in the aisle or in front of the display for at least 15 minutes each time. I pick up a bottle, read the label, set it down, pick it back up again. Is it waterproof? Is it safe for sensitive skin? Will it clog pores? Yeah, I'm that woman. I'm also pretty sure that I might be the only mom who buys no less than 10 bottles of sunscreen per summer season because...it's better to be prepared than not.

Buying sunscreen is definitely an adventure because my family spends tons of time outdoors and we don't want to risk getting skin cancer. But with so many types of sunscreen on the market, it's hard to know which is the best one to buy.

This is where mobile technology comes into play and helps this mom as I'm standing at the store trying to pick the best sunscreen for my family. I'm able to pull out my cell and connect to the internet to research sunscreens as I'm holding the bottle in my hands.

One of the websites I love to visit when researching sunscreen is the  Environmental Working Group’s Guide to Sunscreens. There's a spot on the home page of the website where you can pop in the name of the sunscreen you want to learn more about and a slew of information will generate. I was actually shocked to find out that a sunscreen that my family has been using for years actually wasn't as great as I believed it to be.

According to the Environmental Working Group, the top sunscreens for kids include Adorable Baby Sunscreen, SPF 30+, Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Lotion Sunscreen, Sensitive Skin, SPF 50, and Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunscreen, SPF 50. When it comes to the best beach and sports sunscreens include Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunscreen, SPF 50, Kabana Organic Skincare Green Screen Sunscreen, Neutral, SPF 31, and thinksport Sunscreen, SPF 50+. Read about those and others here.

If you like to research things like which sunscreen to buy while at the store but have trouble connecting to the internet definitely check out what Total Wireless has to offer because they're the nation's largest, most dependable, 4G LTE network. That means fewer connection interruptions and more information at your fingertips when you want and need it.
