The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team roared back from a 34-14 deficit at the half but fell to the Xavier Musketeers 64-55 in Cincinnati on November 28.  The loss drops the Bearcats' record to 2-4 while Xavier moves to 4-1.

The loss spoiled a huge day for forward Alyssa James.  She just missed a triple-double and set a new Binghamton as well as America East Conference record for blocks in a game with nine.  James scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Bearcats.

Kim Albrecht also had a big game for Binghamton.  Albrecht scored 20 points for the Bearcats for the third time in her career.

The Bearcats travel to Providence, Rhode Island on December 3 to play the Brown Bears.  Thursday's game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).
