World Wish Day With Dunkin Donuts

Today is World Wish Day.  Dunkin' Donuts is doing thier part to help make wishes come true in the Southern Tier.

Today is the last day to stop in at Dunkin' Donuts and buy your $1 Make-A-Wish Star. You'll receive a Make A Wish Star Donut as a Thank you and you'll be helping children's wishes come true.  The specialty Star Donuts are blue frosted and bavarian Creme filled and available while they last.

All donations will benefit Make-A-Wish Central NY, which serves kids and families in the Southern Tier and Central New York.  A Make-A-Wish child and family will hand out paper stars to all who make the $1 contribution today. It's the final day of their campaign on World Wish Day.  My wish is for you to stop by Dunkin' Donuts and do what I did and donate a buck.  It's a great cause and you get a wonderful tasting donut too.

World Wish Day celebrates the day Chris Greicius received his wish to be a police officer for the day.  It inspired the creation of Make-A-Wish. Since the first wish in 1980, more than 300,000 children around the world have had their wishes fulfilled by Make-A-Wish.  Every 23 minutes, Make-A-Wish grants the wish of a child with a life-threatening medical condition.
