What if there were a way for you to raise awareness and money for cancer research and you didn't have to spend a dime? You'd consider it, wouldn't you?

I hope that your answer is yes because today is World Cancer Day. 60 years ago, only 1 out of 3 people diagnosed with cancer survived. Today, 2 out of 3 people will survive cancer. Wouldn't it be great if we could make that number 3 out of 3?

World Cancer Day is a day to raise our voices and let it be known that we want to  improve knowledge about cancer and clear up misconceptions about the disease. A day to stand in support of those who are fighting with all that they've got.

In support of World Cancer Day, Chevy is stepping up and donating $1 for each person who turns their Facebook and/or Twitter profile purple (up to a million people), to the American Cancer Society for cancer research and education. And turning your profile purple, as I did, is ridiculously simple.  Find out how to stand in support of cancer research and those fighting the fight of their lives here.
