Today is 8th Annual World Autism Awareness Day. You are encouraged to wear blue today. Go here to find out more about today.

So how can you help? Here's one way, come to a pasta dinner next Thursday and be served by me!

Broome-Tioga BOCES will host their annual Oak Tree Celebrity Pasta Dinner Thursday, April 9th, from 6pm-8pm in the Leslie F. Distin Education Center cafeteria at the Broome-Tioga at 435 Glenwood Road, Binghamton.

Oak Tree is the name of BOCES' program for children with autism. In addition to its classroom wing at BOCES's Glenwood education center, Oak Tree offers programs and services at several area schools.

I'll be serving again this year. My 2 daughters, Riley and Tara, will be helping me again this year. Tara has been working on a method so she can serve everyone faster. My niece, Braedyn is joining our family affair as well.

We all can't wait. I hope you'll save the date and come have dinner with us and help out a wonderful cause.

Light it up blue!
