In North Carolina, a woman graduated from college, but had to miss the ceremony and definitely for a good reason. Juliet Smith went into labor and gave birth to a son- two weeks before her due date.

Juliet was pretty bummed to have to miss her graduation ceremony at Guilford College, but she was stoked because both she and her son, Milo, were healthy.

This is where things get extra feel-goodie. The dean of students at Guilford College didn’t want Juliet’s accomplishments to go unrewarded, so he hand-delivered the diploma to her...in the hospital.

But it didn't end with the dean handing over her diploma. He also brought along a professor with a tuba to play “Pomp and Circumstance” while another professor pushed her down an aisle in a wheelchair for a processional as the nurses cheered her on. The event even features refreshments and a cheesecake.

Can you imagine how awesome our world would be if more people did things like this?
