It's hard to believe that we are less than three months away from the official beginning of winter and Christmas. Are you in need of coats or boots? Here's some good news for you.

Project Concern, 23 Kattelville Road in Chenango Bridge is having their annual winter coat/boot giveaway. It runs now through Friday, October 20th from 2-4.

For a $2 donation, you can leave with more than a coat and boots. You can also get snow pants, hats, gloves, and scarves. The donation is to keep the lights on.

Project Concern provides clothing, household goods, and basic necessities They serve Broome, Chenango County, and Tioga County. It's eligible for anyone in need. It's non-profit and is run by volunteers and relies 100% on donations.

This is where you come in. Do you have coats or boots that you don't need anymore? They are always in need of kids coats and boots. They are looking for 18-24 months, 2, 3 and 4 year old.

As I mentioned, it is 100% donation. So if everything is gone before the scheduled time is done, it's over. You can drop off the coats and boots at Project Concern from 7-4, Monday through Friday and 8-noon on Saturday.
