Wining and Dining: What One Study Says About Your Glass of Wine
According to a study conducted by the University of Pennsylvania, wine might not have all the health benefits we thought it did, and I couldn’t feel more betrayed.
The study actually contradicts the longtime belief that small amounts of wine are good for your heart, claiming that the best thing you could do for your heart health is to reduce the amount of alcohol you drink overall.
And while some people who drink wine regularly do live longer, the study concluded that the improvement of anyone’s health as a result of drinking wine is most likely due to other factors.
If you’re having trouble believing this news, you’re not alone. But we’ve all known for a long time that good things are best enjoyed in moderation and the results of this study prove to be no different.
Keep calm, and keep it to one glass… every so often.
