Every year, I look forward to the Animal Care Council benefit for the Animal Care Council that combines some really cool wine tasting, raffles and a silent auction.  This year's benefit is Friday November 16th from 5:30 to 9:00 pm at the Knights of Columbus, 126 Main Street (across from St. James Church) in Johnson City.

I rescued 2 orange tabbies a few years back and they are the most loving cats in the world.  It's almost like they look at me every day with their amber eyes and say "thank you" for rescuing me.

One thing everyone has in common is they all want to help the many rescued, abandoned cats and dogs in our area.  All the money raised will help the Animal Care Council do what they do best, help with our furry friends that don't have a voice.

Invite your friends to come out and experience some great wineries and food, while helping our area cats, kittens and dogs.  They will also have information on their many programs and adoption procedures.

Advance tickets are available at Animal Care Council, 131 Washington Avenue, Endicott, Vestal Wine & Liquor, 4 Corners, Vestal (next to Big Lots) and Health Beat, 214 Main Street, Johnson City.  Tickets are $25.00 at the door or save 5 bucks by purchasing them in advance for $20.00.

For more information and donations, call (607) 238-7409 or (607) 343-0508.  I look forward to seeing all you animal lovers Friday night.
