Who Is the Best OB/GYN in the Southern Tier?
I don't like going to the doctor. This doesn't mean that I don't like them as people because I do. I just don't like going to the doctor. I've never stayed with the same doctor long enough to build a relationship with them, except for one, but he left me.
In all of my life, I've never loved a doctor more than I did Dr. Canino who used to practice out of the Lourdes building in Vestal. He was my OBGYN and gave me exceptional care through my entire pregnancy and beyond.
It's never comfortable going to a doctor, but even less so when they're literally in your private business. Never once did I feel uncomfortable or awkward when being seen by Dr. Canino. You know what that is? That's a sign of a great doctor. Sadly for me, Dr. Canino moved his practice out of state and just when my husband I were considering the idea of growing our family.
I have to imagine that being an OBGYN is one of those jobs that a doctor loves because of the connection they make with their patients and the joy of helping women overcome health issues as well as helping to bring new life into the world. It has to be, right?
