The unofficial kick-off to the warm weather is right around the corner. Binghamton seems to love its holidays based on having a few libations. St. Patrick's Day, Fourth of July, and the upcoming Binghamton Bridge Run are just a few of these.

Cinco De Mayo is this Saturday May 5th, and a few local watering holes have some special things planned.

The Colonial, 56-58 Court St. Binghamton- The Colonial starts their Cinco De Mayo celebration a day early. On May 4th AND 5th mariachi singer El Potro Doney will be performing. They will be rolling out food specials and some intriguing drink specials. Specials like the Segmental Picante (The Spicy Stud), Puesta del Sol (Sunset), and the Lazamiento de Primavera (Spring Fling) all look delicious.

The Garage. 211 Washington St. Binghamton- Garage Taco Bar is having a "Party Like Its Cinco De Mayo" bash May 5th. They will have drink and food special all day long and DJ's throughout the day. DJ Eddie Fondue will be spinning vinyl throughout brunch and DJ Coda will takeover as night falls.

Citrea Restaurant and Bar, 7 Court St. Suite 3 Binghamton- Citrea will have $5 margaritas and $12 tequilla flights during the day and will feature tacos, quesadillas, and ceviche. The Sabor Latino will be performing from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Lost Dog Cafe, 222 Water St. Binghamton- Lost Dog will have amazing specials for this upcoming Cinco De Mayo. Their menu includes a margarita cheesecake, some amazing tacos, party favors live music, and drink specials. They will also have tacos featuring chicken, pork butt, and flank steak!

Beer Tree Brew Co, 197 NY-369 Port Crane- Beer Tree makes delicious beer, there is no doubt about that. It has a wonderful outdoor sitting area and the Fox and Farmer food truck, which has the most amazing guacamole I have ever had. Fox and Farmer will have traditional tacos with pork carnitas and tomatillo salsa.
