What We Are Learning About Brian Williams [GLENN REACTS]

By now, you've heard that the most trusted news anchor has taken himself off the air in the wake of a lying scandal that seems to be getting bigger and bigger.

The New York tabloids are having a field day with “Lyin’ Brian Williams”. Here's what else we're learning about Brian.

5) Was he lying when he said he enjoyed his daughter's performance in "Peter Pan?"

4) He's really sorry...that he got caught.

3) He thinks that since Wolf Blitzer is still on the air, he should be too. If Wolf Blitzer took himself off of the air every time he got the facts wrong, we'd never see him again.

2) Since he was caught lying, he should give up being a news anchor and go into politics.

1) He intercepted the ball for New England in the Super Bowl. He was wearing a helmet, so maybe. If he was playing and got his bell rung then that would make some sense.

In some seriousness, if I misremembered the kinds of things that he's misremembering, I would be embarrassed and ashamed. If the news really mattered, it wouldn't be a question of 'how long is he gone'.
