The Presidential election is over. Now it's time to pick up the political yard signs. They seem to be everywhere. Well no wonder, according to the New York Times, there were over 20 million campaign signs.

So what do we do with all of those signs?  Here's some suggestions:

Use the cardboard to insulate the garage or man-cave. That way no one can hear you yell at the TV as your team is finding another way to lose the game.

Go to a shredding company then re-stuff the mattresses. Okay, maybe not your mattress but the dog's bed and hamster cages need some cushioning.

Use them for a neighborhood bonfire.  It's a great way to bring a ceremonial end to the political ads. Unfortunately, like a rash, they come back.

Recycle. How many trees did the elected officials use, that promised to support environmental conservation programs? I know....shhhhhh. It's the thought that counts.
