What Happens at Glenn’s Yard Sales [GLENN REACTS]

This Saturday is the Thrift With A Twist World's Largest Yard Sale at the Broome County Fairgrounds in Whitney Point. We also have a couple of yard sales at our house during the year.

If you ever went shopping on River Road in Chenango Bridge then you have a 98.1% chance that you've stopped at my house. I hide on the porch while everyone else sells their stuff. 

This is what happens at my yard sale:

• I warn my family that if I'm in the yard and someone offers me 5 bucks for a 20 dollar item that I'll say yes. In fact, if they ask, "Will you take...", I'll say yes before they even give me their offer.
• At our yard sale, my jokes are free with a money back guarantee. I start telling jokes and the family asks me to go back to the porch. Talk about your win, win.
• Finally, I find it helps to sell my cheap stuff faster if I fill 3 boxes on a table.
• Box 1 items labeled: Don't make me keep these (50 cents). Box 2 items labeled: What was I thinking (25 cents) and Box 3 items labeled: I know, I know (10 cents).

They'll have thousands of items to sell. Who knows what treasures you may find ?  There will be great bargains on household items, tools, baby items, crafts, jewelry, antiques, furniture, toys and more.

A portion of (admission) proceeds from the event will go to the New York State Trooper's Signal 30 Fund. The fund offers benefits to families of State Troopers who are injured or killed in the line of duty.
