Wegmans Recall Says Hummus May Contain Plastic

Wegmans has issued a recall on some of its own branded hummus. They say the hummus may contain pieces of black plastic.

Two sizes of Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Original Hummus are under the recall.

The 8 and 32-ounce containers of the spread labeled "Best Before 11/14/2018" with a lot code of 8118262 are covered under the recall.

If you have one of these affected recalls you can stop by your local Wegmans customer service desk for a full refund on the product.

Wegmans Consumer Affairs at 1-855-934-3663 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. will handle all other questions or concerns over the recall.
