Excitement is building every day for the arrival of Halloween in the Southern Tier and with it being on Saturday this year, it should be crazier than usual.  While Halloween is less than two weeks away, there are quite a few fun events that are ready to go right away.

This Friday is the Highland Haunted House from 6:30-8:30pm at Highland Park at 801 Hooper Road in Endwell.  This haunted house is put on by the Town of Union Parks and Recreation Department and is FREE for all.  The little ones should like this one.

Take a Historic Ghost Walk of PA take place this Friday and Saturday evening from 7-9pm at the Old Mill Village Museum, Rt. 848 in New Milford, Pennsylvania.  Admission is $5 and free for children under 6 years of age.

Friday and Saturday evening 6:30-9:30pm is Boo at the Zoo at Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park. This is such a fun event and is a major fundraiser for our great zoo.  Admission is $8 or $6 for zoo members.

The Rocky Horror Show, presented by SRO Underground III will take place Friday and Saturday from 8-10pm at the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage on Willow Street in Johnson City. If you loved the movie, you should catch the play and keep local theater alive.  Tickets are $18-$20.  Call (607) 722-2821 for more information.

Haunted Halls of Horror starts at 7pm Friday and Saturday night and helps support the Southern Tier Independence Center of the Southern Tier, who also hosts the fun at 135 East Frederick Street in Binghamton.

"The Man Who Died: An Original Murder Mystery," plays Saturday night 8-10pm at the Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center, 42 Delphine Street in Owego.  Tickets are $18-$20.  Call (607) 765-5062 for more information.
