There's a pretty big salmonella outbreak in America right now. At least 180 people in 40 states have been infected. But it's not because of some bad eggs getting into our food, or anything even close.

It's because people won't stop kissing chickens. Seriously, this is no lie.

The CDC has been interviewing people who've gotten salmonella, and 86% of them say they had, quote, "contact with live poultry in the week before their illness began, bringing them into their homes, kissing and cuddling with them."

Approximately 450 people in the U.S. die every year from salmonella, so please don't kiss your chicken. You'll risk becoming just another statistic.
