The Golden State Warriors are NBA champions after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-120 last night in front of the home crowd in the bay area.

The big question can LeBron James return to another NBA final championship series?

A emphatic yes of course he can, in my opinion one thing stopped him from winning another championship this year, Kevin Durant who averaged 35.2 points per game during the series, his 39 points last night, with 11 of the points coming in the final minutes sealed the victory.

After the warriors blew a 3-1 lead in the series last year, they made a call to free agent Durant and he was willing and ready to come to Golden State and join an already champion caliber team.

Not too many people can stop LeBron, but Kevin Durant was the x factor in this year’s NBA finals.

I am not a fan of stacked teams but the Golden State Warriors did exactly what they needed to do to stop LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Warriors were almost unstoppable going 16-1 during the playoffs and finishing the season 31-2.

The Cavaliers will have to look for a few key players to trump the Warriors Durant addition, so could there be a 4th consecutive meeting with these two teams in next year’s finals? Yes without a doubt.
