Warm Your Heart on a Cold Day

Do the bitterly cold temperatures have you feeling blue? Just wait, it's gonna be even colder for the next couple of days. Thursday night the wind chill will be 30 below!

I wanted to pass along something to warm your heart.

The kids are off this week for winter break and since we can't do much outside, I took the girls bowling!

Tara and her friend, Gabby, decided to dress up as the "Whack-a-doddles." They came up with that name because they were gonna "whack" some bowling pins. I just love their sense of style and confidence. Some would say that they got it from me. Okay, fine, nobody says that.

I'm actually kicking myself for not putting on some wings too. They received so many compliments while we were out! It doesn't matter how anyone bowled that day, especially since I didn't win. It was just great to be warmed by the smiles, especially the ones they gave me.
