Wal*Mart Shoplifter Stabs Himself While Trying to Cut Off Anti-Theft Plastic

I kinda like it when a criminal hurts themselves by the hands of their own stupidity. You know how can never get easily past that plastic packaging around electronics and other stuff? Well, That's a theft deterrent. Even though you and i hate it because we can't to our wonderful toys as fast as we'd like when we get home, it's serves it's purpose in store.  Here's what happens when a thief tries do this quickly and get away with the goods!

A 46 year old hooligan David Lee wanted to steal himself a phone from Walmart on Monday evening in Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania. Which is about an hour heading southbound from Pittsburgh.

He's customer of Straight Talk Wireless a prepaid phone company. Then he took it to the automotive aisle and tried to crack it open. Alas it was sealed in one of those plastic packages we spoke of earlier in the post and was very difficult to open.

Lucky David had his trusty knife with him, and went to work on the plastic. But he found out quick that the knife must be super sharp and you must wield it slowly and with the utmost of skill. If you get too aggressive, you might hurt yourself.

Well... that's exactly what happened. David wasn't able to get the packaging open, but he was able to easily stab himself in the arm. There was so much blood the staff noticed, so he stole a towel, wrapped his arm, took off, and drove to the hospital.

But his injury was so severe he had to be flown to a different hospital. That's where police arrested him for theft and disorderly conduct. Apparently he left so much blood behind at Walmart, a HAZMAT crew had to come in and clean it up! Wow. Stealing is bad, children... mmmkaay?
