Waitress Picks Up Cancer Patient’s Bill

A husband and wife were recently treated to an unexpected gesture of goodwill at a pizza shop.

Rick and Annette Lewallen don’t go out to eat often because Rick was diagnosed with brain cancer and medical bills have put a pretty major dent on the family budget.

Rick and Annette decided to splurge and visit a pizza shop in in Hamilton, New Jersey and their server – 17-year-old Daniela Bossi – decided to take care of their check to help them out.

Daniela wrote a message for the couple on their receipt. It read, “For putting up the biggest fight, this one is one me."

Daniela might not have known it at the time, but her selfless act really touched the hearts of the Lewallens and the couple took to social media to express their gratitude and to tell the world about this incredible young lady.

When Daniela told her bosses what she'd done, they reimbursed her and said they were behind her “100 percent.”
