I'll tell you what, I've got a brand new appreciation for those who work in the food service industry. My feet are aching, my thumb is dyed red from pouring Kool-Aid drinks and I was so tired when I got home last night that I plopped into bed fully clothed. Would I change a second of it? Nope.There's something so gratifying about doing things for others and I'm so happy that I was asked to hep at the Oak Tree Celebrity Pasta Dinner last night with Glenn. Oak Tree is a program run by the BOCES for autistic kids. Joining us as servers were Glenn's daughters Riley and Tara. I feel completely satisfied this morning after a night of serving because I know how many kids will benefit from the two hours Glenn and I spent dishing up meals.
