The Village of Oxford is building a Veterans Memorial Walkway around the Cole Memorial Fountain to the honor the men and women who have served our country and they want you to be a part of it.

The Cole Memorial Fountain has been a part of the Village since 1884 and the Village of Oxford and the Oxford Garden Club (OGC)  are putting in a Veterans Memorial Walkway of engraved paver stones to honor veterans and service members but preparation is needed first.

The OGC meets the third Tuesday of each month at different homes on a rotating basis at 6:15 pm. If you would like to find out more about the Oxford Garden Club and how you can help them with this undertaking, contact Jeanne at (607) 843-6278.

If you would like to make a contribution toward a personalized brick/bricks honoring your chosen veteran/veterans to be a part of the Veterans Memorial Walkway, call Vicky at (607) 843-9531.

Applications are available at the Oxford Village/Town Hall and other Oxford locations. Place your order NOW! Orders placed after October 15th are not guaranteed to be in the Memorial until spring.

The dedication ceremony of the Walkway will be on Veterans Day, November 11th at 11 a.m. with the American Legion Post 376 in LaFayette Park. Save the date and don't miss this historic event.
